N-Methylmorpholine-N-Oxide (NMMO) is a nitrogen-methyl morpholine derivative commonly used as a solvent for fiber spinning, heat stabilizers, and organic synthesis.

Application Range: It is used as a solvent in the production of Lyocell fibers, as a heat stabilizer, and as an organic synthesis raw material.

Performance Indicators: NMMO is a water-soluble solution with a concentration of >50 wt%. It appears as a colorless and transparent liquid with residual hydrogen peroxide content of <10 ppm, free amine content of <0.05 wt%, and electrical conductivity of <10 μs/cm.

Characteristics: NMMO exhibits excellent solubility for cellulose, making it an ideal solvent for plant cellulose. It is non-toxic and weakly alkaline, and is readily soluble in water, ethanol, and other solvents.

In order to minimize the impact of impurities in NMMO solvent on the production of Lyocell fibers, the company focuses on developing and producing high-purity NMMO solvent products. The content of high-boiling impurities reaches the ppm level, ensuring the efficient and repeated use of NMMO solvent.
